Jakarta, Indonesia – indonesian President Prabowo Subianto urged BRICS nations to deepen cooperation and resist what he characterized as a growing trend of double standards in international law during a virtual leaders’ meeting Monday evening, September 8th. Addressing fellow leaders, Prabowo echoed calls from Chinese President Xi Jinping for strengthened ties within the bloc amidst increasing global uncertainty.”We must uphold openness, we must continue this close coordination and cooperation in this present world of uncertainty marked by double or even triple standards, where international law is constantly ignored,” Prabowo stated, according to a broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat.
