massive Earthquake Off Russia Triggers Tsunami Warnings, Sparks Renewed speculation on Psychic’s Predictions

A powerful 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the far eastern coast of Russia on Tuesday, July 29, prompting widespread tsunami warnings across several nations, including the United States, Russia, Chile, and Japan. The seismic event, one of the most powerful ever recorded in modern history, generated waves of up to 5 feet high in Northern California and triggered tsunami sirens in Honolulu. In Japan, authorities issued evacuation orders affecting nearly two million people as a precautionary measure. As of Wednesday, July 30, all tsunami warnings had been lifted, with officials reporting no fatalities from the quake or its subsequent waves.

The meaningful earthquake has reignited online speculation surrounding the predictions of a psychic named Tatsuki, who has a history of accurately forecasting future events. Tatsuki’s latest book, “The Future I Saw,” prominently features the date July 2025, a detail she reportedly felt compelled to include with the same urgency as her earlier predictions from 1999. This has led some individuals to take precautions, with TikTok videos discussing potential scenarios and some people reportedly leaving Japan ahead of the predicted date. Greater Bay Airlines, based in hong Kong, even noted a decrease in bookings for July 5, according to earlier local reports.

However, media host Lei,known for her programs “Lei’s Real Talk” and “Lei’s Looking Glass,” has offered a clarification regarding Tatsuki’s July 2025 prediction. Lei, who has a Chinese background and focuses on censorship and truth in the digital age, explained during a YouTube livestream that Tatsuki’s statement was: “If the day of the dream is also the day the disaster unfolds, then the day of the next great catastrophe will be July 5, 2025.” Lei emphasized that Tatsuki did not claim a disaster would occur on that specific date, but rather that it marked a potential moment for humanity to “wake up to the coming danger.”

Despite scientific consensus that earthquakes remain unpredictable, the recent powerful quake has fueled continued online discussion, with some social media users suggesting Tatsuki’s dreams may have once again aligned with reality.Alex Delia (Deputy Managing Editor), Lawrence Banton (Digital Producer), and Harry Fogle (Video Editor) contributed to this report.
