BEIJING – Lenovo has unveiled an updated version of its ThinkPlus GaN charger, now featuring ⁣a three-port design while‌ maintaining the ‍compact form factor of the original single-port⁢ model. The new charger boasts two USB‌ Type-C ports and one USB Type-A ‌port, offering broad compatibility‌ with a range of devices.

The⁢ two ⁢USB-C ports deliver a maximum of 100W, ⁢while the USB Type-A port ‍provides up to 30W. When all ports are in use, the first USB-C‍ port is⁢ capped⁢ at‌ 65W, with the second USB-C and USB-A ports sharing a⁣ combined 15W output.

Lenovo states the charger can⁤ power a ThinkPad X1 from 0% to 44% in 30⁣ minutes, and a macbook Pro 16 ‍to 40% in the same timeframe. It supports ‌multiple fast-charging protocols including QC 3.0, PD 3.0, AFC, FCP, PPS, and ‍others. ⁤

The charger includes‍ a 1.5-meter, ‌240W-capable fast ⁣charging cable (at ⁤least in the ⁣Chinese⁣ market). It is currently available in china for ‍CNY 229, approximately $32. Lenovo has not‍ yet announced‌ plans for an international release, and ThinkPlus accessories‍ have historically⁣ had limited global availability.
