Rio de Janeiro – Brazilian influencer and model Lidiane Aline Lorenco, 33, and her daughter, Miana Sophya Santos, 15, were found dead in their Rio de Janeiro apartment after neighbors reported a strong odor emanating from the unit.
Police discovered the bodies in separate rooms – Miana in the living room and Lidiane in the bedroom – on October 11. Authorities confirmed no signs of violence were present at the scene or on either body.
“A forensic examination was carried out at the scene and no evidence of an attack was found,” a local police spokesperson stated, as quoted by the Daily Mail. “Both bodies have been autopsied,but the cause of death has not been determined.Further tests will be carried out to determine the exact cause.”
the pair had reportedly not been seen for five days prior to the discovery. Firefighters assisted with the initial investigation due to the concerning smell.
Lidiane and Miana were buried on October 12 at the Santa Cecília Public Cemetery in Santa Catarina state, their family’s home region.
Lidiane lorenco maintained a notable social media presence, with over 54,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared professional modeling photos and glimpses into her daily life. she was signed with 40 graus Models and was also a student of medicine at Afya Universidade Unigranrio.
Miana had made few appearances on her mother’s Instagram account as 2018. According to a report by UOL, Lidiane moved to Rio approximately five years ago, and Miana had recently rejoined her there.
