Nina ⁣Chuba to Host⁣ First-of-its-Kind “Fortnite” Experience, Culminating in Virtual ⁢Concert

Cologne, Germany – German musician Nina Chuba is launching a new‌ experience within⁢ Fortnite, built around the⁢ popular⁣ Tycoon game ⁣genre.⁤ Developed by fortnite creator Philip Geißler, known ‍as ‍Standart Skill, and a team of up to ten people over several months, the experience allows up to four players to collaboratively build a⁣ treehouse representing‌ Chuba’s music ‌studio by collecting resources and coins.

Players can unlock⁢ mini-games⁢ throughout ⁤the experience, ultimately ‌leading to a virtual⁣ appearance by Chuba herself. A new⁣ song by Chuba is also being ⁢released as a‍ “Jam Track” playable throughout ⁢ Fortnite as‌ background or profile music.

According to Geißler, the project-commissioned by Sony Music-is the first Fortnite experience‌ for an artist worldwide to utilize the ⁢Tycoon ‍genre. He estimates it will ‍take players‍ between two and⁤ three hours to unlock the final concert.⁣ Chuba was actively involved in ‌the design, incorporating references to her⁢ music and persona.

Geißler⁤ emphasized the importance of balancing ‍branding with engaging gameplay, warning that overt‍ advertising can alienate players. ⁤”A ⁢prosperous Fortnite experience has to be fun,” he stated. “It has to be simple enough so that everyone understands what it is indeed about relatively⁤ quickly. And there⁢ has to be some form of progress⁤ so that the players stay with ‌it and ask ‍themselves: What comes next, what can I‍ still unlock?”
