Nemo‍ of Switzerland has been crowned the winner‍ of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest,finishing ahead of Croatia’s Baby Lasagna,whose song “Like a Superhero” was widely predicted to take the top spot. The ⁣final results, tallied May 11, 2024, in Malmö, Sweden, saw Nemo ​secure victory with their song “The Code,” ‍a powerful performance exploring non-binary identity.

Italy’s Angelina Mango placed seventh in the competition,a strong showing for the nation but falling short of‍ expectations fueled⁢ by pre-contest polling.
