Al-Marsad newspaper: The episode of the “Yahla” program, broadcast yesterday on the Rotana Khalijiya channel, witnessed a dispute between real estate specialists Sultan Al-Jabali and Matar Al-Shammari over the appropriate monthly income for a person who wants to rent an apartment in northern Riyadh.
Sultan Al-Jabali said that the appropriate monthly income for anyone who wants to rent an apartment in Riyadh ranges between 14 or 15 thousand riyals.
Real estate specialist Matar Al-Shammari interrupted him, saying: Whoever wants to rent an apartment in northern Riyadh must have a monthly income of no less than 40 thousand riyals.
Al-Jabali responded: “A person with a salary of 15 or 20 thousand can rent an apartment north of Riyadh.” Pointing out that there are apartments that rent for 4,500 or 5,000 per month.
Al-Shammari caught the edge of the conversation, saying: “How can a person whose salary is 15 thousand riyals pay 5 thousand rent per month?” He continued: “The rest of the expenses do not come, they are not estimated. If his salary is less than 40 thousand, he will not go to the north of Riyadh.”
