D4vd Transfers Two Texas Homes to Mother amid investigation into teen’s Death
HOUSTON,TX – Rising artist D4vd has transferred ownership of two Texas properties to his mother as police continue to investigate the death of 18-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose body was found in a Tesla owned by the musician on September 22. The transfers occurred on September 18, the same day authorities responded to a false shooting report at a Los Angeles rental home where D4vd was residing.
According to public records, the two properties-located in Texas-were transferred to D4vd’s mother on September 18. The timing of the transfers has fueled speculation online regarding a potential connection to the ongoing investigation. Though, reports indicate D4vd’s family already resided in at least one of the homes, suggesting the transfer might potentially be a legal formality rather than a relocation.
The investigation began after police responded to a call reporting a shooting at the los Angeles residence. The caller reportedly used a device to disguise their voice adn falsely claimed a female victim was deceased inside. Upon arrival, officers were met by D4vd’s parents, who confirmed his younger siblings were present and no emergency existed.
D4vd’s manager, Josh Marshall, addressed the rumors surrounding their involvement in a comment on a TikTok video, stating he had no prior knowledge of Rivas’ disappearance or death.Marshall emphasized his remote working arrangement and lack of daily physical contact with the artist, adding that neither he nor the team were informed of any concerns regarding the vehicle. He urged the public to cease spreading conspiracy theories, citing the emotional distress caused to both Rivas’ family and those connected to D4vd.
The cause of Rivas’ death remains undetermined as of September 26, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities executed a search warrant at the Los Angeles rental home on September 18.
