In the next five years, we will be treated to a 99942 Apophis Asteroid visit and he will be very close, so we will be able to see it with the naked eye.
Indeed, this cross -space flight that will happen soon is so special, the European Space Agency (ESA) has praised it as “one of the rarest space events in our lives”.
“Scientists believe that asteroids as big as Apophis will only approach the earth once every 5,000 to 10,000 years,” Esa added in a Twitter/X post.
The uniqueness of this incident is caused by the closeness of the asteroid to the earth and its impressive size.
The space is about 375 meters in diameter (1,230 feet), making it a large missile.

Apophis was first discovered in 2004, that’s when experts placed it on level 2 on the danger scale of the Torino impact.
According to this index, a score of 0 means the possibility of a collision with our planet is more or less zero, while a score of 10 means the collision is “sure” and “able to cause a global climate disaster that can threaten the future of civilization as we know, both those that have an impact on land and oceans.”
