Alcaraz’s Perspective
Following his victory, Alcaraz elaborated on his decision, stating, I would have felt guilty.you have to show values, sport is also clean play.
He further emphasized his commitment to fair play, adding, I want to win matches with justice, I would not have liked that thay did the opposite.

in the quarterfinals, Alcaraz is set to face another American player, Tommy Paul, who is currently ranked 12th by the ATP.
