Optimistic Outlook

Sparks head coach Lynn Roberts offered a positive update, telling the LA Times that Brink is targeting a return by the end of July. Fans have expressed their eagerness for her comeback on social media.

Brink herself shared her gratitude for the organization’s support during her recovery: I’m thankful that I’m not getting any pressure from the organisation. The Sparks are doing a really good job of just supporting me fully through this process.

Statistical Impact

Prior to her injury, Brink demonstrated significant promise in her rookie campaign. In 15 games, she averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 22 minutes per game. Her absence has impacted the Sparks, who currently hold a 8-14 record, placing them 10th in the league standings.

The forward also missed the inaugural season of the women’s 3-on-3 basketball league, Unrivaled. Brink stated in May that she was feeling “great” thanks to the team’s dedicated efforts in her rehabilitation.
