Baseus PrimeTrip VR2 Max Car Charger Now Available in Europe, Promises Rapid Charging for Multiple Devices

Frankfurt, Germany – November 8, 2024 – Baseus has officially launched its highly anticipated PrimeTrip VR2 Max car charger in Europe, following its debut at CES 2024 and initial release in the United States in July. The charger is designed to provide a versatile and high-speed charging solution for drivers and passengers, catering to the increasing demand for in-car power.

Four-Device Simultaneous Charging with Retractable Cables

The PrimeTrip VR2 Max distinguishes itself with the ability to charge up to four devices concurrently. It features two integrated retractable USB-C cables – one capable of delivering up to 67W of power and another offering 33W. Baseus claims the 67W port can fully charge an iPhone 16 in approximately two hours, and a Google Pixel 9 in just 70 minutes. These cables, extending up to 31.5 inches (80 cm), are engineered for durability, withstanding over 10,000 retractions and folds.

In addition to the retractable cables, the charger includes two standard USB-C (33W) and USB-A (30W) ports. When utilizing the 67W USB-C and a standard USB-C port together, the combined output reaches 100W. With all four ports in use, the primary USB-C cable maintains its 67W output, while the remaining three ports share a combined 17W.

Advanced Charging Protocols and Robust Design

The primetrip VR2 Max connects to a vehicle’s 12V power socket and supports a wide range of charging protocols, including Power Delivery (PD) 3.0, Programmable Power Supply (PPS), and Quick Charge (QC) 3.0, ensuring compatibility with a vast array of smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.

Baseus has incorporated a flexible design with a 450° dual-axis rotation – 270° horizontally and 180° vertically – allowing for optimal positioning within the vehicle cabin. Furthermore, the charger boasts a seven-layer protection system designed to safeguard against overheating, overvoltage, and other potential electrical hazards.
