AC/DC to Rock Ohio Stadium in 2026 as Part of “Power up” Tour
COLUMBUS, OH – Rock legends AC/DC have announced a concert at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on February 24, 2026, marking the sixth stop on their extensive “Power Up” tour. The show will bring the iconic band to “The Shoe” for the first time in their history.
The Buckeyes’ football stadium will host AC/DC as part of a seven-month circuit encompassing 21 shows scheduled between February 24 and September 29, 2026. Other major tour stops include MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and Estadio River Plate in Argentina. This concert offers Central Ohio fans a rare prospect to experience the band’s high-energy performance without traveling far from home.
This isn’t AC/DC’s first foray into Columbus music venues. The band previously performed at Nationwide arena in September 2016 during their “Rock or Bust” tour. Decades earlier, in 1979, St. John Arena hosted what would become the final U.S. performance with original lead singer Bon Scott as part of the “Highway to Hell” tour.
The current AC/DC lineup features lead guitarist angus Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt laug, and bass player Chris Chaney. The band has sold over 200 million albums worldwide and is the only Australian group to achieve No. 1 album status across five consecutive decades, solidifying their place as one of the moast influential rock acts of all time.
