Roxanne Perez, a performer with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and member of the Judgment Day faction, announced she recently underwent surgery to address a benign mass in her back. Perez revealed the details in a video posted to her official TikTok account, sharing that the mass had been causing her pain for several months.
According to Perez, the mass was located within her muscle tissue, necessitating a surgical procedure for its removal. “I recently underwent a surgery to remove a benign mass that was in my back that was causing me a lot of pain for a couple of months,” she stated. “This benign mass was located inside my muscle… there is currently stitches inside my muscle that will eventually dissolve.”
The surgery has kept Perez sidelined from WWE programming for approximately one week, a period she described as physically challenging. “The first few days I literally needed help just standing up and walking. It was a little intense,” she explained. While eager to resume training and competition, Perez emphasized the importance of adhering to medical guidance to ensure proper healing of the internal stitches. “I am absolutely dying to receive back into the gym… if I just do too intense of a workout… it can just cause some trouble with the recovery process,” she said.
Despite the setback, Perez expressed optimism about her recovery and eventual return to the ring. “My recovery is going well. I don’t have too much pain anymore… I’m going to be back in the ring in no time,” she stated. Perez also acknowledged the support of fellow professional wrestler Drake Morreaux, noting his assistance during her recovery period.
Perez’s absence from WWE Raw had prompted speculation, with Liv Morgan briefly suggesting a possible injury. The surgery explains her recent lack of appearances, following her involvement in a Philly Street Fight against Raquel Rodriguez and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at the Royal Rumble premium live event in January. Perez joined The Judgment Day in June 2024, following an injury to Liv Morgan and alongside Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh.
