Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Three Saudi Arabian youths are being hailed as heroes after rescuing two Chinese engineers from a flooded vehicle in Hail Province on November 16th. Ahmed Nasser Al Anzi, Hamoud Masamah Al Anzi, adn Mubarak Farih Al Anzi risked their own safety during heavy rainfall and strong winds to save the engineers, whose car was tilting precariously in rapidly rising floodwaters.

The dramatic rescue unfolded as the engineers were trapped inside their vehicle, facing the imminent threat of being swept away.Ahmed bravely approached the car and climbed onto its frame, successfully opening the door and extracting the two men. Hamoud and Mubarak provided crucial support, securing a path and guiding the engineers to safety.

The act of courage quickly gained attention online, wiht a viral video reaching the Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Chang Hua. Ambassador Chang publicly praised the three young men for their selfless actions at an official event held at the Chinese Embassy in Riyadh.

“We are deeply grateful for their bravery and quick thinking,” saeid Ambassador Chang, extending his thanks and tribute to Ahmed, Hamoud, and Mubarak. As a gesture of recognition, the three rescuers were presented with symbolic travel tickets, representing an invitation to visit China at their convenience.

The rescue has resonated with many Saudis, who view the actions of Ahmed, Hamoud, and mubarak as embodying the values of courage, kindness, and honor within Saudi society. The incident underscores the strong relationship between Saudi Arabia and China,and highlights the potential for cross-cultural heroism.
