Porsha Williams Claims Verbal Assault on Flight, FBI Investigating
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star porsha williams was allegedly verbally assaulted by a fellow passenger on a flight returning to Atlanta from Las vegas on Sunday night, according to her attorney. The incident is now under examination by the FBI.
The Atlanta Police Department confirmed it investigated a dispute involving two women upon arrival at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Tuesday. According to a statement released by the department, officers “made contact with two females who may have been involved in the dispute.” The preliminary investigation indicated “both parties may have been involved in a verbal dispute that reportedly escalated into a physical dispute during an inbound flight to atlanta.”
Attorney Joe Habachy stated, “Ms. Williams was verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation. The passenger then proceeded to make false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses.”
Police separated the women “on the scene” and interviewed both individuals. Video footage obtained by TMZ shows Williams walking with officers after landing. A Delta spokesperson confirmed to TMZ that both women were interviewed both on the plane and at the airport.
The FBI Atlanta office confirmed its awareness of the incident. “It is unknown at this time if federal charges will apply,” an FBI representative stated.
Habachy explained that an FBI investigation is standard procedure in such cases, stating, ”[F]ederal authorities are required to conduct an investigation involving all parties to determine what, if any, offenses occurred.” He added that Williams intends to fully cooperate with law enforcement.
Habachy expressed confidence that the other passenger will ultimately face charges. Williams had attended the BravoCon 2025 fan fest in las Vegas prior to the flight.
