POL-NB: Police Seek Witnesses to Reported Assault in Neubrandenburg

Neubrandenburg police are requesting assistance from the public following a reported assault that occurred on October 31, 2025. Investigators were alerted to the incident after a 27-year-old man reported being attacked.
According to the man’s account, the incident took place around 4:00 a.m. on Friedrich-Engels-Ring, near Deutsche Bank. He had exited a taxi when he was allegedly approached by two individuals wearing masks.The individuals reportedly demanded money from him.
A physical altercation reportedly ensued after the man refused to comply with the demands. A passerby in a vehicle intervened, prompting the two individuals to flee the scene.Paramedics treated the 27-year-old man at the location for minor injuries.
Suspect Descriptions
Both suspects were described as wearing balaclavas. One suspect was reportedly approximately 1.80 meters (5’11”) tall and wearing a red down jacket. The second suspect was slightly taller and wearing a gray jogging suit. Both individuals reportedly spoke German.
