FC Dallas Toyota Stadium Renewal: Key Updates and Partnership Extension

FRISCO, TX – FC Dallas and Toyota Motor North america have extended their partnership agreement, ensuring Toyota’s continued presence ⁣as the Official and Exclusive Automotive ​partner of FC Dallas and⁢ Toyota⁤ Stadium.The renewal ​coincides with‍ a $182 ⁢million modernization project underway ⁣at the stadium.

Since initially partnering in 2013,Toyota and FC⁢ Dallas⁤ have collaborated on youth soccer programs,sustainability initiatives,and ​community outreach in ‍North Texas. The extended agreement will see​ Toyota’s integration across FC Dallas‍ platforms and at Toyota Stadium throughout and beyond the renovations.

David Christ, Group Vice President, ​Toyota Division,⁣ added, “We are thrilled to renew our ⁢long-standing partnership with FC Dallas. Toyota Stadium has been home to many wonderful memories for our community, ‌and the updates to the stadium will onyl further cement it ⁣as a world-class venue.”

Approved⁣ by the Frisco city Council in september 2024, the stadium renovation is​ a public-private partnership involving the City ‌of⁤ Frisco, Frisco ISD,⁣ Frisco Community Development Corporation, Frisco Economic Development Corporation, and the Hunt Family. Planned upgrades include approximately 3,400 new seats, a new east-side ⁤canopy for shade⁣ and weather protection, expanded club and ​suite spaces, and upgraded broadcast and media⁢ facilities.

Construction ‍is ‌currently underway,with the east-side ⁢structure already visible. Toyota Stadium has previously hosted ⁣events ‌including MLS⁤ All-Star Games, ‌Lamar Hunt U.S. Open⁢ Cup Finals, U.S. Men’s and Women’s⁢ National Team​ matches, ⁣the NCAA FCS Championship Game, ⁤FC ⁢Dallas home matches,⁤ NCAA and high school football, concerts, and international competitions.
