Bezzecchi Claims Pole Position at motogp Mandalika 2025, Marquez Qualifies Ninth
Mandalika, Indonesia – Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia secured pole position for the motogp Grand prix of Indonesia at the Mandalika International Street Circuit, clocking a blistering lap time of 1 minute 28.832 seconds during Saturday’s qualifying session. The result sets the stage for a compelling race on Sunday, while six-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez will begin the race from ninth position.
The qualifying session was marked by several incidents, including crashes for Alex Marquez and Alex Rins, but Bezzecchi’s performance remained unchallenged in the final minutes. Fermin Aldeguer will start alongside Bezzecchi in second, with Raul fernandez rounding out the front row in third. Marquez’s ninth-place qualifying position indicates a challenge for the 2025 champion as he aims for a strong finish at the Indonesian circuit.
