New York,NY – November 21,2023 – Fans of the Puzzle Quest franchise are expressing confusion and disappointment as several titles have been abruptly removed from digital storefronts,including the popular Marvel Puzzle Quest.Over the past few days, eagle-eyed gamers noticed the disappearance of Marvel Puzzle Quest from both the Xbox and PlayStation Stores, alongside Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign, puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, puzzle Quest 2, and Puzzle Quest Galactrix.
originally launched in 2013, Marvel Puzzle quest offered a unique blend of puzzle gameplay and the expansive Marvel universe, allowing players to assemble teams of their favorite superheroes. The delisting is especially surprising given the game’s continued popularity on platforms like Steam, iOS, and Android.
The removal appears linked to a change in publishing,following D3 Publisher‘s acquisition by 505 Games in 2022. While newer installments, Puzzle Quest 3 and Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition (released September 18th), remain available, titles previously published by D3 Publisher have been pulled from digital stores.
