Barron Trump Moves into White House as He Begins Sophomore Year at NYU: Sources
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Barron Trump has relocated to the White house as he commences his sophomore year at New York University, according to sources familiar with the matter. The move marks a shift for the youngest Trump child, who previously resided primarily in Florida with his mother, former first Lady melania trump.
The decision comes as President Donald Trump enters a busy phase of his second term, navigating ongoing international conflicts and domestic policy initiatives. Having his son nearby allows for increased family time and provides a security detail already established at the white House. While the White House and NYU declined to comment on the matter, the move signals a potential increase in Barron’s public appearances alongside his father and a closer integration into the administration’s daily life.
Recent months have seen Melania Trump maintain a visible presence in Washington, championing causes such as anti-revenge porn legislation and actively engaging in her husband’s diplomatic efforts to resolve the war in Ukraine. She has also undertaken several official duties, including unveiling a postage stamp honoring former First Lady Barbara Bush and leading a school AI initiative.
The First Lady accompanied the President on his first trip as the 47th commander-in-chief, visiting victims of Hurricane Helene in north Carolina. She also joined him for the opening night of “Les Miserables” at the Kennedy Center in June, despite a boycott from some actors. Additionally, she recently called on Russian President vladimir Putin to return kidnapped Ukrainian children to their families and urged the President to adopt a firmer stance against the Kremlin’s attacks on Ukrainian civilians.
