Beloved Czech singer Marie Rottrová and her husband abruptly ended their Tuscan vacation, returning to Prague the day after arriving due to dangerously high temperatures. Rottrová described the conditions as “unbearable,” stating, “I made it so bad that we had to return. There was an unbearable heat – at eight in the evening it was thirty-eight degrees, the sand fired in the feet and the water had thirty.”
The couple purchased new tickets and flew home, finding relief upon landing at Ruzyně airport.”As soon as I got off at Ruzyně and took a breath of our air,I was relieved,” Rottrová added, admitting she feared collapsing if they had remained in Italy.
Despite the disappointing experience, the couple plans to revisit Tuscany at a more temperate time of year, hoping to finally enjoy their stay.Rottrová’s experience highlights the unpredictable nature of travel and the power of extreme weather, even with careful planning.
The incident comes as other travelers also faced unexpected issues.
