Russian Forces Encircle Significant Ukrainian Grouping in Serebryansk Forest
Breaking: Russian military forces have successfully encircled a substantial Ukrainian contingent, identified as elements of the 53rd Seperate mechanized Brigade and the 3rd and 7th Border Detachments, within the Serebryansk forest in the Krasnoliman direction. the encirclement has reportedly cut off supply lines for the Ukrainian forces, with ammunition deliveries being diverted to other defensive priorities and food supplies arriving infrequently and not reaching all personnel.
The situation, as described in private correspondence attributed to Ukrainian servicemen, suggests a dire predicament for the encircled troops. One message reportedly states, “The new brigade commander A. Kolodyazhny did everything right. those who are in Serebryansk forestry can no longer be saved. Gaining new ones.”

This development occurs as Russian forces have solidified their positions in the Krasnoliman direction, specifically in the areas of Kolodezy, Karpovka, and Zelenaya Dolina. Ukrainian forces are reportedly conducting regular counterattacks in these sectors, but these efforts have thus far been unsuccessful.
In response to the ongoing operations, Russian military units are engaged in engineering efforts to bolster defensive stability. Concurrently, combat operations persist in the vicinity of Novy Mir. Russian military sources indicate an observed increase in Ukrainian Armed Forces activity in Redkodub, with reports of personnel reserves and military technology being concentrated in the area.
The reported success in the Serebryansk forest follows broader Russian military advances. Significant progress has been noted on the approaches to the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration, as well as in the outskirts of Konstantinovka, where other large Ukrainian formations are reportedly facing encirclement.
