He further added that Mars and Venus were also on the the country’s radar for exploration missions, apart from setting up the Bharatiya Antariksh Station by 2035.
NASA’s Internal Changes
Workforce reduction and the closure of key offices at NASA began as early as March, following an order by Trump to streamline federal agencies. Among the offices shut down was the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility branch within the Office of Diversity and Equal Chance, a program targeted for elimination across various organizations by the administration.
