A man was stabbed in the neck and seriously injured by an unknown person in Hanover. The 26-year-old got into an argument with the perpetrator in front of a pub shortly before Sunday night, the police said together with the public prosecutor’s office. Suddenly his opponent stabbed him with an unknown object and fled. The 26-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. So far there has been no trace of the perpetrator. The police are now investigating attempted manslaughter and are looking for witnesses who observed the crime in the Vahrenheide district.
