007 First Light Nintendo Switch 2 Release Delayed

April 10, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

The release of 007 First Light on the Nintendo Switch 2 has been delayed. Reports indicate that the James Bond title is now scheduled to launch for the console later this summer.

The delay affects the version of the game specifically developed for the Nintendo Switch 2. While a precise new date has not been provided, the revised window shifts the launch to the summer months.

Parallel to the software delay on Nintendo’s platform, a limited edition PlayStation controller themed for 007 First Light is preparing for market. The hardware is expected to be available for order shortly.

The announcement of the new DualSense controller has drawn criticism from some members of the PlayStation community. Initial reactions to the hardware’s appearance have been negative, with some users asserting that the design is incorrect.

The limited edition controller remains scheduled for release as the game’s rollout continues across different platforms.
