winston-Salem Man Charged in September shooting Death
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Jaheim Bennett, 22, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of destiny Tucker, 27, who was found shot in her home on Cullent Street on september 11.
Investigators have confirmed that Bennett and Tucker knew each other. In addition too the murder charge, Bennett faces three felony counts – possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell – as well as a misdemeanor charge of resisting a public officer. Police state Bennett attempted to flee when officers arrived to arrest him. he also has outstanding warrants in New York for three additional charges.
