SC Hundsmühlen Kung Fu Team Dominates at IBF German Championships
Marl,Germany – November 23,2025 – The SC Hundsmühlen Kung Fu team returned from the International Budo Federation (IBF) german Open in Marl with a remarkable haul of medals,showcasing their skill and dedication in both kata and semi-contact fighting. The team secured multiple gold, silver, and bronze awards, solidifying their position as a competitive force within the national Kung Fu scene.

Marlena Hübner led the team’s medal count, earning a silver medal in weapon katas for juniors and a gold medal in semi-contact juniors (+65 kg). Wiebke Lucke demonstrated mastery in katas without weapons, securing gold in the over-45 age category. Marina Bruchmann achieved a double victory, winning gold in katas for seniors and being crowned grand champion for women in semi-contact fighting.
Jan Wöbken added to the team’s success with a second-place finish in semi-contact juniors (-65 kg), while roman Lantsev placed fourth in the weapon kata division. Despite delivering strong performances, athletes like Clara Opitz narrowly missed podium positions.
