Red Dead Redemption PS5 Version Lands on PS Plus Extra in December 2025
Rockstar Games confirmed today that a PlayStation 5 version of Red Dead Redemption will launch on December 2nd, 2025, concurrently joining the PlayStation Plus Extra game library. This marks the first title announced for the PS Plus Extra lineup for December.
The release brings ample enhancements to the critically acclaimed Western, including a targeted 60 frames per second, improved image quality, HDR support, and resolutions up to 4K. Players who already own the PlayStation 4 version of Red Dead Redemption will receive a free upgrade to the PS5 edition. Both the PS5 and PS4 versions will be available to PS Plus Extra subscribers.
