Players can begin earning rewards for MLB The Show 26 right now within MLB The Show 25, thanks to the introduction of Now and Later packs. These packs function like standard The Show packs, but opening one in MLB The Show 25 will unlock a corresponding pack in MLB The Show 26 upon its release next year.
This initiative follows an early announcement of MLB The Show 25-a response to feedback regarding the previous game’s Diamond Dynasty mode-which was ultimately better received by fans. Sony’s recent tease for MLB The Show 26, shared by Ramone Russell, outlined commitments to enhanced gameplay authenticity, a more expansive Road to the show mode, and improvements to Franchise mode’s front office features.
The Now and later packs will be available as part of the 11th Inning XP Path starting November 21st, and will also feature in a dedicated Program in early 2026. This provides an incentive for players to continue engaging with MLB The Show 25 as anticipation builds for the next installment.
