Jackboy Revives Feud with Kodak Black by Sharing 2015 interrogation Footage
Rapper Jackboy has reignited his long-running dispute with Kodak Black by posting a 2015 interrogation video of the fellow Florida artist. The clips, shared on Wednesday (Oct. 29), depict Kodak Black being questioned by police following his arrest that October.
The resurfaced footage stems from an incident on October 15, 2015, where kodak Black was arrested on charges including robbery, battery, false imprisonment, and possession of marijuana, alongside driving with a suspended license.According to police reports obtained by XXL, the arrest followed an alleged assault and forced confinement of individuals in response to a break-in at Kodak Black’s residence. This public sharing of the interrogation video marks the latest escalation in a feud that has seen both artists trade accusations on social media for several years, and signals a potential renewed volley in their public conflict.
During the interrogation, Kodak Black reportedly admitted wrongdoing, stating, “I know I f**ked up and I shouldn’t have taken matters into my own hands,” according to the booking report. He ultimately pleaded no contest to the charges in August of 2016, receiving a sentence of one year of house arrest and five years of probation.
While Kodak Black has been relatively quiet regarding the dispute recently, Jackboy previously revisited the conflict in March, alleging Kodak Black was in protective custody while incarcerated in 2018. the recent posting of the interrogation video suggests Jackboy is actively seeking to re-open old wounds in their fractured relationship.
