Ionos and Nobix Partner to Deliver Secure, Sovereign Cloud Solutions for German Businesses

The collaboration will see Ionos providing its sovereign, secure, and powerful cloud environments specifically tailored for small and medium-sized businesses. nobix will complement these offerings with comprehensive consulting, migration, and ongoing operational services.
According to the companies, the partnership addresses a growing need for control, security, and genuine digital sovereignty among German organizations and public authorities. Ionos’s cloud infrastructure is 100% independent, GDPR compliant, developed in Germany, and powered by green electricity across numerous data centers in Germany and Europe – all certified to BSI C5, ISO 27001, and BSI IT basic protection standards with 24/7 availability. Early successes already demonstrate the synergy between the two companies. Nobix and Ionos recently assisted an energy sector company in migrating parts of its internal collaboration platform to the Ionos Cloud, meeting stringent industry regulations. They also migrated the IT infrastructure of a non-profit association from an on-premise data center to the Ionos Cloud, resulting in improved security, performance, and a single point of contact for support – all “made in Germany.”
