Jakarta, November 7, 2025 - BP-AKR, operating under Raya (APR), is increasing its fuel sourcing from Pertamina Patra Niaga with a new order of 100,000 barrels of base fuel, according too Director general of Oil and Gas Laode Sulaeman. This follows an initial agreement for APR to utilize imported cargo from Pertamina Patra Niaga to supply its BP-AKR gas station network.
“BP AKR will order another cargo in two weeks. BP will add another 100 thousand barrels,” Sulaeman stated at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Office in Jakarta.
other fuel retailers,including Shell and VIVO,are currently engaged in negotiations with Pertamina patra Niaga regarding fuel supply. Sources indicate VIVO is likely to follow BP-AKR and begin purchasing fuel from Pertamina Patra Niaga in the near future.
Acting Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV dumatubun, confirmed the Buisness-to-Business agreement with PT Aneka Petroindo Raya (APR) to ensure fuel availability. The initial 100,000 barrels are specifically designated for BP-AKR stations.
Dumatubun emphasized the rigorous process undertaken to finalize the agreement, including supplier tenders, surveyor involvement, and an open-book negotiation of commercial terms, all while adhering to Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles. He affirmed the fuel supplied meets all APR requirements and underscored pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to secure, high-quality, and accessible energy for the public.
