The port’s strategies include the “priority grouping and pre-requesting vehicles” mechanism, minimizing replacement and customs processing times. These initiatives support the China-Europe freight train routes. This network connects 21 countries, including Germany and Poland, transporting over 200 different goods.

The efficiency gains at Alashankou Port are impressive. Over 3,600 China-Europe (Central Asia) trains have passed through the port this year, contributing to a total of 46,000 trains.
