The Quest Pro scores a big price cut. After only 4 months from the premiere

On October 11, Quest Pro was presented and the device was priced at EUR 1,799.99 (about PLN 8,500) and the price scared off many players from the beginning. The manufacturer, however, promised a lot of improvements compared to previous devices introduced to the market – the list of improvements included, among others, “next generation optics”.

As it turns out, Meta decided to go for a big discount and from today the Quest Pro is available for $1,000 – at launch, customers had to pay $1,500 for the device, so we’re talking about a really big discount here.

The new offer is active from today in the United States and Canada, and will go into effect in other countries on March 15. We can expect that Quest Pro will also be much cheaper for customers from Poland.

Meta will also lower the price of the 256GB Quest 2 to $430 (down from $500). The price of the standard model (128GB) will not be changed.

It is very possible that the manufacturer’s move is due to the mixed reviews of Quest Pro and low interest in VR goggles.
