Five-Star Point Guard Deron Rippey Jr. Schedules visit to Tennessee
Tennessee basketball is actively pursuing top talent for it’s future rosters, with five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. of the 2026 class now on the radar. Rippey Jr. has scheduled several visits for the upcoming fall as he evaluates his collegiate options, and the volunteers are among the programs he plans to visit.
According to reports, Rippey Jr. will visit Tennessee in late October. his recruitment tour also includes stops at Kentucky, Miami, North Carolina, Alabama, Texas, Syracuse, and Indiana, with visits commencing in August.
Standing at 6-2 and weighing 175 pounds, Rippey Jr. hails from Blairstown, New Jersey.He is recognized as the top-ranked player in his home state and holds the 17th spot nationally among prospects in the 2026 class,earning a five-star rating from the 247Sports Composite rankings. His impressive performance was further highlighted when he was named the MVP of the Adidas Palmetto Road Championships.
