MONTAUK, N.Y. – Suffolk County Police are investigating the death of Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra, a 33-year-old woman found deceased in Montauk on August 26, 2025. The discovery has prompted a homicide inquiry, with authorities releasing limited details as thay gather evidence.
Nolan-O’Slatarra, originally from County Clare, Ireland, had been visiting the United States and was reportedly planning to return home this week. A friend, Elma, who requested her last name not be published, spoke to Fox News Digital about her shock and concern.
“We weren’t told anything about the circumstances,” elma said. “Martha had planned to return to ireland this week and had called just days earlier to ask about a ride from Shannon airport (SNN). that was the last time we spoke.”
