SharkNinja, the Massachusetts-based product design and technology company known for its Shark and Ninja brands, is seeking a North America Commercial Planning Lead as it continues to expand its presence in the competitive home appliance market.

The newly created role, announced this week, will focus on improving demand forecasting and supporting the company’s Integrated Business Planning process, according to a company statement. The position will require close collaboration with sales, finance, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize inventory and drive profitable growth.

Founded in 1994 by Mark Rosenzweig as Euro-Pro Operating LLC, SharkNinja has experienced significant growth in recent years. Net sales climbed from less than $250 million in 2008 to over $4.3 billion in 2023, fueled by a strategy of disruptive innovation and expansion into diverse product categories, including cleaning, cooking, food preparation, and beauty.

The company, which went public and is now traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SN, currently employs over 3,000 people across nine countries and 25 offices. SharkNinja holds a portfolio of more than 4,500 patents globally, including in the United States, Canada, China, and Europe.

Mark Barrocas, the current CEO, joined SharkNinja in 2008 as president and has overseen the launch of the Ninja brand alongside the established Shark line.
