Seoul delivery Driver Receives Unexpected Gratitude From Young Cancer Patient
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – September 5, 2025 – A Seoul-based delivery driver received a deeply moving gesture of thanks from a 9-year-old battling cancer and his mother, after quietly adding an extra item to their order. Mr. A, who operates a delivery pork belly shop in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, was touched by a note accompanying a recent delivery app order stating the meal was a rare treat for the customer’s son undergoing chemotherapy. Moved by the family’s situation – Mr. A is also a parent to a young child and expecting another – he included an additional order of LA ribs wiht a message of support: “Cheer up.” Days later,the mother and son visited Mr.A’s shop, traveling from Guro, Seoul, to express their gratitude in person.
