Samsung Exynos 2200 Called to Have 30% Better Performance Than Exynos 2100!

INDOZONE.ID – Samsung is now preparing its newest Exynos chipset, the Exynos 2200 which is predicted to come with a number of improvements, especially from graphics after working with AMD.

Yes, it is mentioned that the Exynos 2200 will be a Samsung chipset that uses the AMD RDNA 2 architecture found in its APU, currently we can find AMD RDNA 2 on the latest PlayStation 5 console.

Recently a leaker named @FrontTron has provided information regarding the comparison between the Exynos 2200 chip and the Exynos 2100.

It is stated that the Exynos 2200 delivers a peak performance increase of 31-34%, whereas for normal performance it increases by 17-20%. However, please note that these figures come from pre-release hardware and the final version may vary.

Of course, this makes many people curious whether the Exynos 2200 will be able to fight the Snapdragon 898 chipset or not. Because the new chipset from Qualcomm is still using the Adreno GPU while Samsung has now switched to using GPUs from AMD.

FrontTron itself says that compared to the Snapdragon 888, the Exynos 2200 has a significantly different 3DMark (Wild Life) score.

Quoted from GSMArenaThe use of this AMD GPU also allows the Exynos 2200 to be the first mobile chipset to come with Ray-Tracing support which is currently only available on high-end PCs and next-gen game consoles.
