A limited-edition electric bicycle, created in collaboration with the Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts’ Club (RREC), is currently out of stock, according to Velorbis, the Danish manufacturer. The bespoke bicycle, priced at €5,000, is designed as a classic ladies’ model with an upright riding position and features a color scheme inspired by Rolls-Royce’s 1984 archives – RAL 5011 blue.
The bicycle boasts a lightweight lugged steel frame, hand-built in Germany, and incorporates the RREC Showcase logo alongside the Velorbis crest. It is equipped with a 250-watt (50 Nm) center motor and a 360 wh rechargeable battery, offering a range of up to 55 km on a single charge. The battery is designed to blend discreetly with the frame’s color and lines.
Velorbis offers the e-bike in three frame sizes for women. Accessories include leather grips, a leather toolbag for the saddle, built-in dynamo hub lights, a front basket, an integrated frame lock, anti-puncture tires, and a leather saddle. The e-bike utilizes a VELORBIS eDrive360 electric system.
The collaboration was highlighted after Velorbis was featured in “Strive for Perfection,” an official publication for the International Club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts. Sandra Wolf, CEO of Velorbis, has overseen the company’s transition towards a nearly completely sustainable operation, employing a staff of 550.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars also offers a tow bar mounted bicycle carrier as an accessory. The company selected Home-Start Arun as its primary charitable focus for 2019, supporting families in the Arun, Worthing and Adur District Council areas.
Production of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club e-bike is built-to-order, with a lead time of 6-12 weeks.
