Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Orders Begin,New Switch 2 Accessories Revealed
Pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are now live,alongside the declaration of a limited-edition Resident Evil-themed Pro Controller and a new amiibo for the Nintendo Switch 2,Capcom revealed today. The game, alongside Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, will launch together on the switch 2.
The announcements come as Capcom prepares to celebrate the Resident Evil franchise’s 30th anniversary in the new year. A dedicated Resident Evil Showcase is scheduled for early 2026, promising a more in-depth look at resident Evil Requiem before its release.
For collectors, a “Generation Pack” will be available, bundling Resident Evil Requiem with both Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village on the Switch 2. the Pro Controller features a unique design inspired by the series, while the amiibo’s character has yet to be specified. Capcom has not yet announced pricing or specific release dates for the Pro Controller and amiibo.
A new Resident Evil Showcase will take place at the start of 2026 offering up a deeper look at Resident Evil Requiem before its launch.
