Boyfriend Accused of Shooting Pregnant Teen, Killing Her Brother in Snapchat video: Police
Turtle Lake, WI – A Wisconsin man is in custody following a shooting that left a pregnant teenager wounded and her brother dead, with a graphic video of the incident circulating on Snapchat, authorities confirmed. The shooting prompted a warning from Turtle Lake School District officials to parents about the potential for students to have viewed the disturbing content.

According to police, the suspect allegedly shot his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach. During the same incident, her brother was fatally shot.A graphic video of the shooting was then shared on Snapchat, quickly raising alarm within the turtle Lake community.
“That’s gotta tell you something right there. If you post something like that, you definitely are a violent person,” Barron County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson, Deputy Chris Conyer, told KARE 11.
The Turtle Lake School District instantly alerted parents to the situation, stating, “we have been made aware of a graphic video of the shooting on Snapchat, where some Turtle Lake students could have received the message and could be upset.” The district made counselors available to students needing support.
The suspect remains hospitalized and is expected to be formally charged once released. The inquiry is ongoing.
