Osmariel Villalobos Shares Heartbreak on Reality TV

Venezuelan model Osmariel Villalobos recently revealed a deeply personal tragedy during a Telemundo reality show. She became emotional while discussing the loss of a baby she experienced years ago, a moment that underscored her long-held desire to become a mother.

Emotional Revelation on Screen

On the show, the contestants were tasked with writing about their deepest pain. During this exercise, Villalobos broke down, recalling the difficult time when she lost her unborn child. Her dream of motherhood remains a significant part of her life, as she expressed to her fellow contestants.

Villalobos, who was Miss Yaracuy in the Miss Venezuela 2011 competition, confessed she didn’t want the baby during her pregnancy. Regrettably, she experienced a miscarriage a few weeks later. The memory is something she struggles to forget.

“I didn’t want the baby, I rejected it from the beginning and then I lost it. I want to leave that behind, since I will be a great mom and I apologize to my baby,”

She wrote a note of forgiveness and placed it in a wooden box during the show, symbolizing her attempt to move past this painful memory. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicates that approximately 10-20% of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, underscoring the prevalence of such experiences (CDC).

Past Relationship and Painful Loss

Before appearing on the program hosted by Jacky Bracamontes, the former “covers” host had spoken about the situation, explaining the loss happened during her relationship with Juan Pablo Galavis.

The painful departure occurred on January 5, 2018. At the time, she kept the news private. It wasn’t until an interview a year later that she spoke about the experience.

“No one knew that I had lost a baby with Juan Pablo, nobody knew that I was pregnant and less that I had lost it. In fact, the first time I said it was a year ago in an interview,”
