Renderings of the OnePlus Ace 6T, anticipated to be rebranded as the OnePlus 15R for global markets, have surfaced, revealing a design closely mirroring the flagship OnePlus 15. The leak, initially shared by Evan Blass, indicates a potential reduction in camera count compared to the OnePlus 15, but maintains a similar aesthetic.
The OnePlus Ace 6T is currently slated for release in China on November 26th, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Preliminary AnTuTu benchmarks show the device achieving a score of nearly 3.6 million points, approaching the 4 million mark attained by the OnePlus 15, which utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. According to AnTuTu data, the Snapdragon 8 Elite typically scores between 3 to 3.1 million points.
Technical specifications reveal key differences between the Ace 6T and the OnePlus 15. Both phones feature a 50MP primary camera utilizing the Sony IMX906 sensor with a 1/1.56” sensor size and 1µm pixel size. However, the OnePlus 15 boasts a wider aperture of f/1.8 and includes laser autofocus, even as the Ace 6T has an f/1.8 aperture and standard autofocus. The secondary wide-angle camera on the OnePlus 15 utilizes a 50MP OmniVision OV50D Light Fusion 400 sensor with a larger 1/2.88” sensor size and smaller 0.612µm pixels, compared to the Ace 6T’s 8MP sensor and 1.12µm pixels. The OnePlus 15 also includes a telephoto lens with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 sensor, a feature absent in the Ace 6T’s specifications.
Both devices share a 24mm focal length for their primary cameras and a 16mm focal length for the wide-angle lenses. Both also feature a dual-color LED flash and support video recording up to 8K resolution at 7680×4320 pixels, utilizing H.264, H.265, and MPEG4 formats at 120fps.
