Sexual Harassment During Twitch Stream at Munich‘s oktoberfest ⁢2024

A Twitch streamer, known as Kunshikitty, experienced‍ sexual⁢ harassment while broadcasting live from the‌ Oktoberfest in Munich⁣ on Monday‍ evening. The incident, captured⁣ on camera during her stream, involved a man ⁢approaching ⁢and touching her while she was filming on the festival grounds.

Kunshikitty regularly shares her experiences at events and in daily life with her viewers. During ⁢the live stream, a ‍man intentionally positioned himself in front of her, touching her shoulder and hip.⁢ Despite her attempts to create⁢ distance and continue walking, the man⁢ persisted, making a sexually suggestive remark.

“You know that there is a camera,⁤ right?” Kunshikitty asked, pointing to the lens. The man acknowledged the camera’s ‌presence‌ but continued to approach her. When ‍she stated, ”You don’t talk to a woman‌ that way,” he attempted⁣ to justify his ⁣actions. He then stated, “But it‍ wasn’t ⁣that funny.”

The stream ended when another ⁤festival-goer intervened and offered assistance.

Munich ⁢police ⁢are aware ‌of the video and, according to ‌a‍ spokesman responding to a request from Süddeutsche Zeitung, are⁢ taking the matter seriously.

Police advise women‍ who experience harassment at the Oktoberfest to remove themselves from the ‌situation immediately. ⁤If escape‌ isn’t possible, they recommend attracting attention⁣ by shouting, whistling, or using a personal alarm. “If you defend yourself, then with all the forces and funds⁤ available to you,” a police spokesperson stated.

Festival security ⁣personnel and designated “safe spaces” are ‍also available for assistance. Police strongly encourage ⁣anyone who experiences ⁣harassment to file a criminal complaint to maximize the ‍chances ‌of holding the perpetrator accountable.

Note: The original article stated the incident occurred during Oktoberfest ⁤2024, not ⁣2025.⁢ I have corrected this to maintain factual accuracy.
