Nicolas Cage Stars in Best Pancakes in the County Trailer
IFC has released a trailer for Best Pancakes in the County, an upcoming crime thriller scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 20th. Written and directed by Ken Sanzel, the film follows a small-town diner that turns into the meeting place for a cunning criminal named The Sonofabitch over the course of one violent night.
Inside the Diner Standoff
The narrative centers on a deadly confrontation unfolding during a single explosive evening. The Sonofabitch finds himself wrapped up in a high-stakes clash involving his rivals, corrupt FBI agents, a shady con man with a dangerous past, and a waitress harboring dark secrets of her own. As loyalties blur and tensions erupt, survival depends on outthinking and outgunning everyone else in the room.
The ensemble cast features Nicolas Cage, Justin Long, Shelley Hennig, Ravi Patel, Lauren German, and Kelly Greyson. Sanzel returns to the director’s chair following his work on Kill Chain.
Nicolas Cage on the Autumn Release Calendar
The November 20th theatrical launch for Best Pancakes in the County places Cage on screens alongside another major autumn project. Amazon MGM Studios’ biographical film Madden stars Cage as legendary NFL coach and broadcaster John Madden, with a global Prime Video streaming release set for November 18, 2026. Christian Bale co-stars as Raiders owner Al Davis in the biopic, which follows Madden leading the Oakland Raiders to a 1977 Super Bowl championship before transitioning to his broadcasting career and helping shape EA’s Madden video game franchise. That film also stars Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, John Mulaney, and Shane Gillis.
