New effort to find man’s head after Australian reality TV star charged

Police Intensify Search for Decapitated Man’s Head Near Port Lincoln

Former Reality Star Charged in Gruesome Murder Investigation

Authorities are expanding their search for the missing head of **Julian Story**, 39, whose dismembered remains were discovered on June 19. **Tamika Sueann Rose Chesser**, 34, a contestant from “Beauty and the Geek,” faces a murder charge in connection with the case.

New Search Areas Identified

Detective Superintendent **Darren Fielke** stated that new information and specialized equipment have pinpointed several key locations near Port Lincoln, South Australia, for renewed investigation. These areas include reserves, parks, bushland, and coastal waters.

“New search areas have been identified and by undertaking these renewed searches, we hope to find Julian’s missing remains, which will give comfort to his family and allow them to peacefully lay him to rest.”

The extensive search operations have involved state emergency service volunteers, water police, divers, and local patrols. Previous efforts were temporarily halted on July 1 to review CCTV footage, focusing on the movements of **Chesser**, who had been in a relationship with **Story** for several months. Police located **Story**’s body after firefighters responded to a blaze at a Flinders Highway property, which is believed to be the couple’s residence.

Investigators are appealing to the public for any video footage that could assist their ongoing efforts. The chilling nature of the crime echoes broader societal concerns about violence; in 2023, homicides involving dismemberment, though rare, were reported in various jurisdictions, highlighting the need for vigilant community reporting.

Chesser was apprehended on June 19, shortly after **Story**’s body was discovered. Reports suggest she was known to frequent local parks and back streets in Port Lincoln with her dogs.
