Moscow‘s “Video Game Night” to Host Cyber Tournament, Retro Gaming & Star Guests
Moscow, Russia – Gamers and esports enthusiasts will converge at the VK Play Arena on Dmitrovskoye Shosse for ”Video Game Night,” a free event featuring a cyber tournament centered around popular online games, a retro gaming play area, and appearances by prominent figures from the gaming and music industries.Pre-registration is required via the Moscow International Video Game Week website.
The event, organized by the Agency for Creative Industries of the Moscow Department of Culture, aims to celebrate gaming culture and provide a platform for both competitive and casual players. It’s part of a larger Moscow International Video Game Week, which began November 27th and anticipates welcoming gaming journalists, developers, and esports athletes from 20 countries across 50 business sessions and 330 venues citywide.
World champion Counter-Strike player Mikhail “Dosia” Stolyarov will be a special guest at the event. Attendees can also explore a cosplay dressing room to embody their favorite game characters.
Beyond the competitive and creative elements, “Video Game Night” will feature a musical lineup including Tony Watkins, former head of Electronic arts Russia and current head of Astrum Entertainment, and headlining DJ Smash, one of Russia’s most popular DJs.
