Lenovo has launched its new Xiaoxin 14 SE laptop in China, offering a budget-friendly alternative to the Xiaoxin Air 13 released in July 2026. Priced at 5,599 CNY—approximately $834 USD—the 14-inch device scales back certain premium features like high refresh rates while maintaining a standard 60 Hz display equipped with anti-glare coating and 400 nits of brightness.

The 14-inch panel achieves a 90% screen-to-body ratio and includes DC dimming to reduce flicker for enhanced viewing comfort. While it lacks the high refresh rate of its predecessor, the display’s anti-glare finish and 400-nit brightness rating make it viable across various lighting conditions.

Encased in a chassis measuring 16.9 millimeters thick and weighing 1.39 kilograms (about 3 pounds), the laptop prioritizes daily portability.
